Have new Arrow X3 with front brakes, IAME X30 and I run Tag Masters here in the states. Kart was run by the US Arrow team at SuperNats so the setup was originally professionally done, I bought it with only the one race on the chassis. I can't seem to get the kart to jack at all on our course which has a couple of tight 180 degree turns. My setup is as follows: -max caster -slight toe out (1-2 degrees) -one 8 pound weight on the upper left hand side of the seat. -loose side pods, rear bumper, no cross strut in front - medium rear axle with medium hubs set at 55 inches -both front and rear are set high for the chassis (course is a car track with a few rough spots) -Have been running minimum Ackerman but just switched to inner holes for maximum Ackerman, have not tried this as a change as I was following advice of a local kart shop to take it out.
I am fast, motor is great but I need to be quicker in the turns. My kingpin setup does not appear to have the second nut where I can adjust camber, does have the lower nut (pill) to adjust caster. Upper caster nut is set to front, lower is set facing rear. Not not sure if that is an issue but after reading Arrow manual I think I need to increase camber as well. All suggestions are welcome as some competing chassis seem to get 3-4 inches of rear wheel off the track in the corners but mine won't budge. Thanks Brad in New Hampshire
