After setting the front end to my normal settings, usually 2mm toe out and neutral camber, and running a few laps with no contact with anything on the course, when I check the front end again everything has changed. Sometimes by as much a 10mm negative or more, no toe or toe in on the snipers. Everything is tight and this happens almost everytime, over the last few weeks. It is impossible to get a good run with the front end doing this. Any suggestions. By the way this is an Arrow X3

Hi, Pat, this sounds like a rather extreme case of a problem some other karters have had. I personally run an X3 and have had similar but far less extreme issues. My suggestion to you would be to tighten, and I mean really TIGHTEN the king pins, or get someone to try who is accustomed to the X3. double check you've got the correct amount and order of spacers on the king pin, and if you are to go as far as disassembling it all, check that the offset black washers on the top and bottom do not protrude through the stub C-section into the middle area.
The order of spacers should be as follows exactly.
-king pin top -silver ball shaped washer resting inside black offset washer -C-section -large silver washer with slight curve in surface (curve facing towards stub axle) -smaller silver washer with curve to match above washer. -small silver spacer -stub axle -exactly the reverse of above should also be below the stub axle
As a last check, tighten the king pin and tie rods and then attempt to adjust the camber/castor with an arrow alignment spanner or a shifter. it should take a pretty hefty effort to get it to budge. Mine is like this and I am lucky to get perhaps 1mm of change in my alignment if I've hit something.
best of luck!

Thanks, for the reply
I do tighten very very tight, so tight I have stripped the threads on the king pin. I replaced all the hardware, so i am hoping this will also help correct this problem. I will make sure that the adjusters do not protrude, and if they do, do you think i should file them down?
